SF movies have become big money, but not always. Are genre movies becoming passé?
Is there anything new to be said on film that hasn't already been done?
How does a screenwriter do something unique? How can you get something "different" approved by a studio?
Is it better to adapt a story/novel or come up with something from scratch?
Is it time for someone from outside the genre to inject new energy into SF film?
